Introduction to Permaculture courseIt is with great pleasure that we announce our internship curriculum! We feel that we have included the most important subjects that people need to know in order to start living sustainably and more self reliant. We are very excited about having two wonderful teachers coming to teach two of our specialist courses, these courses are also accessible for non-interns. Interns will need a PDC to do the internship, people just attending our specialist courses do not need to have a PDC.

Fresh turmeric, the dried powder, capsules with the dried powder and dehydrated turmeric pieces in the big jar.

This wonderful root is an amazing healer. It tends to grow abundantly in our garden, just like ginger. How do we get enough turmeric in our diet? It is strong tasting, so you cannot add too much in your food. Dehydrating is the solution for us!

Tom and I spent a lovely night in the kitchen last night. No, we did not make a romantic candle-lit dinner… You see, we really enjoy eating sausages. Late last year we made up some spice mixes and with the help of our butcher we made some very yummy sausages from meat of one of our cows. The most expensive (and not originating on our property) item however, were the sausage casings.
